The online e-petition ‘Stop the badger cull‘ [NO LONGER AVAILABLE] posted by Dr Brian May has today become the most successful petition ever on the HM Government website having hit over 258,270 signatures. The number of signatures is still increasing and currently stands at 258,501 [and rising] – perhaps everyone wanted to be that last signatory! [up to the magic number]
We would like to thank everyone who has signed and worked so hard in encouraging others to do so. We hope that in reaching this landmark, awareness about the cull will be raised and our collective voices heard.
