Queen + Adam Lambert - Brian May sings Love Of My Life and cries, Amsterdam 2015
Magical moment during Love Of My Life. 30 January 2015, Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam.

Brian is now paired with King Crimson's Robert Fripp in Round 2 of Ultimate Guitar Showdown.
They provide the six-string bits for two fairly different bands, yet they are bonded together by being very unique players. Quite recognizable and experimental, they're about to kick off a memorable clash we hope.
In the left corner is Mr. Fripp, the man who in many ways singlehandedly invented the prog rock genre, and that's no mean feat. To get here he defeated Adam Jones of Tool in the first round. Give it up for the man!
In the right corner, we have a man wielding a chunk of fireplace known as the Red Special. Apparently he eats prog masters for breakfast, as he bested Dream Theater's John Petrucci to reach phase two. Let's hear you!
Visit http://ultimate-guitar.com and VOTE for our man !!
The voting ends on January 28 at 11:59 PM EST. The next pair will be here on January 29. And may the finest axe-wielder win!

Tony Iommi and Brian May shared a dinner and a spot of stargazing. Brummie guitar legend Tony Iommi has revealed how he and fellow rock god Brian May went stargazing together in the Sabbath star's back garden in Lapworth.
Iommi said: "I've been mates with Brian for more than 40 years and he and his missus came over for dinner while he was in town for the Queen show at the NIA."
May and Iommi were guitarists for two of the biggest bands of the seventies, but May is almost as well known for his internationally renowned work in astrophysics. He gained a PhD in 2007, and has written several respected books and research papers on the subject. He's used to the finest star gazing equipment money can buy, but had to make do with something more basic when he popped round to pal Iommi's house.
Iommi said: "We were having a nice meal and a chat when Brian said something like 'crikey - it's 10 O'clock - I need to go outside'. He said there was a comet coming over and he wanted to have a look so we went outside but all I had was an old pair of binoculars. Even then he told me to turn all the house and garden lights off because they were affecting the view. That was a right pain because I had go all over the house finding the switches."

Polish Queen Fanclub sent the following:
We cordially invite you to participate in a charity auction in aid of stray cats.
The key item of the auction is a unique miniature copy of The Red Special with two necks. It was hand-made by one of the Queen fans from Poland - Rafa? Sobczyk. The guitar is 1:3 in scale; about 36 cm (14 inches) in length. One of the necks has 12 strings, the other 6. It has been made purely out of pine wood. It has been painted with traditional wood stains and covered in a layer of colourless varnish. Special attention has been paid to the smallest details, e.g. frets.
All collected funds will be donated directly to Viva Foundation - they are the ones who care for stray and feral cats in Szczecin. The goal of the auction has not been randomly chosen - Queen fans are always eager to help. Moreover, cats were Freddie's the favorite animals.
