Good evening Mr. Brian May,

May I just start off with saying that I am a huge Queen fan. I only have the 3 greatest hits pack...can't really afford all CD's. You are one my greatest inspirations.
Okay, how rude of me. I am Ilse Escobar and I live in Florida, Miami to be exact. I am 15 years old and I am in 9th grade. Ever since I was young I have loved animals (and art). But I would say animals are my first love. I would love to sign the petition but alas I live in the United States. I was wondering if there are any printable petitions. If it were to be any help I will try to go around my school and actually get people to sign them. The world must know! I will try to get people to sign them. I just would really love to help out. But to note I am shy, but a great man by the name Farrokh Bulsara once said "Be yourself. No matter what they say." Well to be accurate he was Freddie Mercury when he said that, but you know what I mean. I hope I did not take up to much time and that this reaches you.

Much love and support Bri! I hope for everything to go swimmingly.

Brian replied:

What a great message, Lise - thanks so much - I can tell we are kindred spirits. I'm not sure if you can do much to help the British badgers from over there. But awareness around the world will help all animals as time goes on. There are great people working on animalmwelfare in the USA on speaking up for wolves and coyotes, and working towards ending the cruel killing of seals, whales and others. I think in the end it will all help us move on - and develop into a race which treats all creatures decently. So please do keep caring and questioning and educating. We will get there in the end.

Lots of love and thanks

Hello Brian,

As a fan of your music I was just wondering if there was a possibility that the music you wrote for Rise of the Robots will ever be released. Thank you and take care.

Brian replied:

Ah … well, at least one track is out there … 'Cyborg' is on the Another World album.

I still have the arcade game and it still works great !

I of course doubt that you will read my message, but I'll try to take a chance: D
I hope that you will like my drawing.
I am so happy that all perfectly with Josephine. And that this poor thing is located in the most trusted and good hands!<3

Your loyal fan from Russia - Katia

Brian replied:

Thank you so much Katia.

I love the painting. You're very talented.

And it's a very good likeness of Josephine - complete with small white tip to her tail. Great !

And thanks for caring.

We now have 7 little rescuees altogether …

One of them is not well, and may not pull through - but Anne will be updating on the Save-Me and Harper Asprey sites.

The others are all doing very well, including Josephine, and Napoleon, our first two arrivals this year.

Love

Hi Bri,

Paraphrasing Edmund Burke... "All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing"

So keep on ruffling feathers!

Yes, the story of Jesus is inspiring and becomes more awesome the older I get. I believe there is room in this wide wonderful universe for both science and spirituality... and this gives me hope for the future.

My thougths and prayers are with you and yours on this day after Easter...

A MAIL FROM SUNNY SPAIN

Enrique Rocafort wrote:

Dear Brian,

First of all I hope your knee is better. Thanks for all the work you do defending animals (despite being Spanish, I am ashamed of bullfighting. I think that people who like it should fight to death as In The Hunger Games. Maybe is a good way to check for them if it is fun).

I wonder if there are plans to edit any of the Hammersmith shows with Alan last year. I came from Spain with many friends. The first day we had a big Spanish flag with the "Queen Rocks" Phoenix and our cities. We throw it at the end of WATC and some of the roadies took it. I would also like to encourage you to play more songs from Back To The Light or Another World in addition to Last Horizon. There are many songs that would be fitting in an acoustic set.

Please Brian, do not forget to Stop in Madrid with Kerry!

Love,

Enrique

PS. A picture of the flag is Attached

Brian replied:

Ah - you guys are great.

We have been trying to get a Spanish date or two for the Born Free tour with Kerry, but so far have not had success.

But I will not forget !

and returning to the solo album material is a good thought.

Cheers

Hi Brian,

I don't know if you've seen this, but there's a great interview with Pete Hammerton at http://www.comedychords.com/features/pete-hammerton/ ahead of The Others' gig in Hove at the weekend. There's talk of some fella taking his place in Unit 5 as he left to join The Others a few years ago...

Regards,
