Bob Hewitt wrote: Hi Brian I saw your very intelligent article in the Daily Mail - possibly the best worded article ever written to tell the real truth about the skulduggery of a badger cull - and the bTB 'excuses'. I think anyone with an ounce of sense will be well educated now regarding this murdering government's intentions - thanks to this article. I have also seen some of the follow up articles from the NFU and their cronies - they have nothing convincing to say, because they have no intelligent argument - so they resort to "stick to playing guitar - and we'll run the countryside". God help us if they continue to do so - I've seen such a change in our countryside over the past 50 years - and it's not for the better. Modern farming methods stink - and as I've always said - farming is a filthy business....in more ways than one. You need to be strong now - you've been fortunate to have a fantastic article published in the DM that will make a real difference. Resist the 'knockers' in the knowledge that you (and the rest of us right minded caring people) will win through for the animals - because it's those poor creatures who matter, and you've helped to give the voiceless a voice. Well done Brian - really proud of you. Kind regards as ever --- Brian replied: That's a great message, Bob. thanks so much. I needed that ! Can we publish it in our Letters section ? NO PRESSURE !! Just say no if you want it to remain private ! OK ? Cheers and thanks again Bri --- Bob Hewitt replied: Go ahead Brian - these people need telling that they don't rule the countryside.....it belongs to everyone and every creature from the tiniest insect to the largest mammal. Kind regards as ever |
**Fri 31 Aug 12** B J J Comerford wrote: The Guardian has published an article regarding humans being forced into vegetarianism due to water shortages and human overpopulation by the year 2050. As you keenly know , enlightened vegetarians and animal rights activists have been aware of this for years. It takes 2500 gallons of water to produce a pound of meat and it only takes 60 gallons of waters to produce a pound of wheat. Once again the powers who rules this world have shown no forsight regarding this crisis. They are the same tyrannical greed-heads who want to cull (massacre) badgers, deer's, foxes, hedgehogs, wolves, coyotes, sharks and many rodent species. But they have no problem with human overpopulation because they think humans are the greatest species to ever grace the earth. Conversely, no species had done more harm to the planet than homo sapiens. Anthropocentrism has proven to be evil, arrogant, dastardly and irreparably destructive. DA Vinci literally predicted this entire mess hundreds of years ago. Of course nobody listened to him because he was a compassionate genius who respected all life. --- Brian replied: I think this is a great comment, Brien. The truth of what you're saying is there for everyone to see … but it seems to be impossible to get most people to hear it, or understand it. Well, perhaps an article like this, and comments like this from you, will start to wake people up. The problem is that all the folk who read this probably DO understand. How do we reach the rest of the population whose eyes are closed? Cheers Bri |
**Wed 29 Aug 12** Anna wrote: Hello Brian! You, Roger Taylor, and Jessie J were stunning at the Olympics closing ceremony! I especially loved your outfit from the performance, which has inspired me to draw this picture of you. Thank you for inspiring me and cheers! --- Wonderful, Anna ! thanks ! Can we put it up please? Cheers Bri x --- Yes, you may! I would be honored! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Big hugs! |
Mark wrote: --- Hi Mark I thought I'd just quickly respond to your message and award you the prize for 'least helpful message of the month'. Maybe it'll be good for you to know that I don't just respond to 'yes people', as you call them. I think perhaps, if you listen a bit more carefully to my guitar solo you'll realise you missed something. As for your comments on our clothes, I don't think that kind of stuff is worthy of an answer. Please don't bother writing again. Cheers Bri |

Thanks for going against that trend and creating some of the most complex, fascinating, and timeless music I have ever enjoyed! http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/07/26/us-science-music-idUSBRE86P0R820120726 All the best, --- Brian replied: Good Grief ! thanks Elisabeth. **Thu 26 Jul 12** Tony Newman wrote: Hello Brian Just wondering if you could shed some light on why QPL or whomever is responsible for the lack of official LIVE 70’s Concert DVD or BluRay releases? It seems we get more re-releases of all the same 80’s concerts than anything. Including the re-release of of the new greatest hits 1 & 2 (which doesn’t include The Miracle, Innuendo or Made In Heaven). We’ve seen We Will Rock You released a couple of times (2 different names), Live at Wembley 2-3 times, Live at the Bowl and now Hungarian Rhapsody for the second time (Live In Budapest). Do you know why we’re not getting Live at the Rainbow, Hyde Park, Earls Court, Houston 77? Are there plans for any of these to be released in the future? I am an American fan of Queen since 1975. I am now 50 and have purchased EVERY single thing you guys have ever released... I would spend DOUBLE for any 70’s concerts as I’m sure many others would too... When I’m dead, I will purchase nothing. I’m sure it’s not about the money with you guys but if you read the many posts about the fans who still love the Queen we remembered from the 70’s you’d see there is a LOT of interest in the 70’s concerts. I think the momentum you have right now with Lambert and the young crowd now getting behind Queen, it would be a great time to introduce them to the early Queen band. You guys were simply INCREDIBLE in the 70’s. So young and DANGEROUSLY LIVE!!! We see all of the YouTube vids from the 70’s era and some quite clear (possibly high def). We would just like to see these get a proper release, even if it’s just on DVD... They deserve to be seen and WE THE FANS deserve to see them. Thanks, if you reply! Love you guys forever!!! Tony Newman --- Brian replied: Well, Tony - I hear you, but it's not that simple. See SOAPBOX |
