No – this isn’t deforestion in Africa. This is tragic destruction of habitat right here in Britain. At the junction of the M25 and the A3, thousands of acres of forest have been brutally bulldozed, presumably in the name of speeding traffic interchange. All done in the season where all the wildlife would have been hibernating – all destroyed.
I would like to know WHO MADE THIS DECISION ?
Did anybody ask us ?
Was it debated ?
Where were DEFRA ?
Where were Natural England ?
Why is nobody speaking up for the Natural World ?
Alongside the unforgivable destruction of the countryside by the building of the pointless HS2 – this is a disgrace. When will we get a government that actually CARES about our fragile environment ?
