A very long day of promo – to spread the word about tonight’s broadcast of our documentary film —- “Brian May : the badgers, the farmers and me”. Thanks all you folks all over. Britain who have already tuned in to hear our story. As we expected, some groups have already condemned us even before they’ve seen what we have to say. And the Daily Mail and the disgraceful Daily Telegraph have accused us of “spreading misinformation” – which, in my book must come close to libel – because I can promise you that every morsel of this film is our team speaking the plain truth about what we discovered in the last 12 years – including 6 years of filming for this BBC documentary.
Our Gatcombe team comprises one courageous Devon dairy farmer, one gifted farm Vet, one dedicated vastly experienced wild animal rescuer, and myself, just someone who feels compelled to fight cruelty, corruption, and … yes … misinformation.
This misinformation has over the last 12 years of Tory rule caused the unnecessary death of thousands of cows, ruined the families and mental health of hundreds of farmers, and tragically destroyed the entirely innocent lives of 230.000 British badgers. If our film makes you feel frustrated and angry, please let your voice be heard. It will help all parties to makes this Hellish mess a piece of history.
