Bri and villagers Daffodil Day 2025

Historic Moment ! 💥💥💥💥The first ever Daffodil Day in a Surrey village ! OK – the secret’s out – this is my new group ! Worthy villagers we are –
and at the end of a couple of very pleasant but seriously physical days, we have planted, not one thousand and one, but close to 3,000 daffodil bulbs, which we hope will burst into fragrant blooms next Spring. The project is not quite finished — we have a few bulbs left to plant in pots, on a date with some local children. But right now this little gift to the village is quietly settling in, beneath the grass on our Church Green. In this picture are (standing L-R) Mark (head gardener), Hilary (parish council liaison), Steve-O (senior digger), Bri (project sponsor), Jenny (mover and shaker), Richard (Notcutts liaison), and (sitting L-R) Michelle (bulb carer) and Rob (power digger and implement creator). Great Team !! Many thanks !!!

Bri
