Stereo Chorus Testing

And now for something completely different !!! I’m planning to do a little bit of live playing pretty soon — and recently we’ve been concerned that the stereo chorus that is a big part of my guitar sound on stage has drifted away from optimum. Available technology changes over the years – and not always for the better ! For about 50 years (ouch !) I have run those three Vox AC30 amplifiers with three completely separate signals going through them – a straight through, a chorus left and a chorus right. So they never interfere with each other, even when I’m running them all flat out (which I normally do !) – and the result is a big fat broad creamy sound which I love. So today we re-optimised it – choosing between different machines and different settings. In this closed space those amps are beautifully deafeningly loud – if you turn your phone sound up full and turn it on its side you’ll get some idea ! But really you have to be there !!!

See you out there !!!
