In 1978 – Queen played the Ice Stadium, Stockholm, Sweden.

In 1988 – The Cross played the Markthalle, Hamburg, Germany.
In 1992 – Def Leppard released ‘Tonight’ single UK and USA bw ‘Now I’m Here’ with Brian May, from The Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert 20/04/02.

In 2006 – Special one-hour American Idol results show, the finalists having performed one of Queen’s hits.
In 2011 – Hollywood reissued Queen’s debut single, ‘Keep Yourself Alive’ b/w ‘Son and Daughter’ as 7″ vinyl limited edition coinciding with Record Store Day [in the USA and Canada – first American release commemorating Queen’s 40th Anniversary].
In 2012 – Queen announced Q+AL concerts 11 and 12 July, Hammersmith Apollo, London.
In 2013 – We Will Rock You Holland, Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam, closing date.
In 2013 – “The Legend That Is Mr Loaf” – Brian May shared a photo of his rock and roll pal.

In 2015 – Brian May and wife Anita Dobson attended the Olivier Awards, Royal Opera House, London – shortly after Brian’s eye surgery – hence the shades. They presented Katie Brayben with ‘Best Actress in a Musical’.

In 2017 – In an interview with the UK’s Daily Star, Brian May announced the Freddie Mercury biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” almost ready to hit cinemas in 2018.
