In 2006 – Japanese broadcasting company Fuji TV, adopted Brian May’s ‘Back To The Light’ as closing music for their F1 season programmes, “Formula 1 – World Championship 2006”, running 12 March – 22 October. To take advantage of the exposure and cross promotion Japan EMI were also looking to relaunch Brian’s debut solo album ‘Back To The Light’, possibly in May 2006.
