HAPPY  BIRTHDAY TO JIM ‘MIAMI’ BEACH 

In 1942 – Henry James Beach (born 9 March 1942 in Gloucester) – British lawyer and band manager, long-time manager of rock band Queen, its individual members and comedy group Monty Python. Nicknamed “Miami” by Freddie Mercury.

In 1973 – EMI began negotiations with Trident about a new recording contract for Queen.
In 1974 – Queen played Corn Exchange, Cambridge, UK.
In 1974 – Queen hit the singles chart in the UK for the first time, at No 45 with ‘Seven Seas of Rhye’.

In 1975 – Queen played Kiel Auditorium, St Louis, Missouri, USA.
In 1976 – Queen received a Gold award for A Night At The Opera US sales.
In 1976 – Queen played Santa Monica Civic Auditorium, Santa Monica, California, USA (2 shows).
In 1987 – Freddie Mercury and Mike Moran continue work on new tracks at Town House Studios, London: ‘Holding On’, ‘Yellow Breezes’.
In 1988 – The Cross played the Civic Hall, Guildford, UK.
In 1993 – The Brian May Band played the Civic Centre, Hartford, Connecticut, USA.
In 1995 – John Deacon wrote a letter for IOQFC Spring 1995 Newsletter, stating that the band recording and mixing a new Queen album – the “Made In Heaven” sessions.

In 1997 – Brian May travelled to Mongolia for Solar Eclipse, and during trip wrote ‘China Belle’.
In 2006 – Queen + Paul Rodgers played the MCI Center, Washington, DC, USA.
In 2011 – Brian May spoke to”ITV Wales” about the problem of badgers in Wales.

In 2012 – Spike Edney posted on Facebook already looking forward to another collaboration with Queen + Adam Lambert at Sonisphere Knebworth on 07.07.2012. I
n 2012 – Adam Lambert announced in a radio interview in Nashville that Queen + Adam Lambert had not yet talked about the possibility of a concert in the USA and at that time only Moscow and Knebworth planned.
In 2013 – Thirty life-size fibreglass sculptures of lions – including “Freddie The Lion” exhibited at the “Pride Of Cape Town” event, Cape Town, South Africa.
In 2016 – Roger Taylor shaved off his beard and presents his new look on holiday with Sarina Taylor in Indonesia.
In 2016 – Brian May & Kerry Ellis – One Voice The Tour 2016, Incheba Hall, Bratislava, Slovakia.
In 2017 – Brian May presented the CD back cover of “Golden Days” – and Robin Rees of The London Stereoscopic Company announces that they were currently working on a book on “Starmus 2016”.
