Of course, there was no Freddie Mercury and no John Deacon.
But it might as well have been Queen re-visited as Roger Taylor thrilled a healthy gallery with hit after hit of classic sounds that reminded us why they will be remembered as one of the greatest bands of all time.
Taylor, against the odds, proved there is life after Freddie as he provoked a stirring rendition of These Are The Days of Our Lives.
And with a surprise appearance by former lead guitarist Brian May towards the end, Radio Ga Ga proved the ultimate climax to a night of nostalgia.
This was the 13th gig of Taylor’s Electric Fire tour but there is nothing for him to be wary about.
Forget his age, the boy has a good future . . .
