Kashmira Cooke, Freddie’ delightful sister, was interviewed by BBC TV One taking about Freddie for a documentary on the Zoroastrian Religion. This will be screened this Sunday 30/3/14 at 1.15 – 1.45pm. Title of the programme is entitled “NoRuz: The Persian Spring.”

Comedienne Shappi Khorsandi explores the traditions of NoRuz, the Iranian New Year, which marks the beginning of spring, and introduces her young son to the festivities for the first time. Together they set up the centre-piece table and take a symbolic leap over the fire. Plus, Kashmira Cooke, the sister of rock star Freddie Mercury, discusses what faith means to her family, and chef Cyrus Todiwala chats about NoRuz activities while he cooks.
