Some big names in music got together over the weekend to create a new version of “Do They Know It’s Christmas,” some 30 years after the original all-star Band Aid recorded the tune. The latest version, which features Bono, Queen’s Roger Taylor, Chris Martin of Coldplay, Seal, Ed Sheeran, Sinead O’Connor, Bastille’s Dan Smith and many others, hopes to raise money to help the fight against Ebola. A video for the song, which premiered on the U-K’s X Factor on Sunday, shows the artists in the studio, recording the track. According to Bob Geldof, who once again organized the recording, in five minutes the release raised 1.5-million dollars. Buy the song and help the cause at iTunes. .
