Hot off the back of their appearance at the Oscars, Queen’s keyboardist and musical director, Spike Edney announces THE SAS BAND’s highly anticipated 25th Anniversary tour! The evening will feature guest appearances by some of Spike’s rock-star and musician friends, performing their biggest hits from across the decades.
Spike Edney is one of the most respected and versatile session musicians and musical directors in the business. In addition to being legendary rock band Queen’s musical director and keyboard player since 1984, this British multi-instrumentalist has toured, recorded and performed with the living and late legends of our time, for over 40 years.It is from this extensive network of musician friends, he will call upon to put together this highly anticipated show.

Since their debut in 1994, THE SAS BAND have made various television appearances and performed at an array of international high profile public concerts, major corporate events and exclusive private parties, around the world. Phil Collins, Queen, Rod Stewart, Bob Geldof, and The Rolling Stones are a few members of the ‘rockistocracy’, who have requested Spike, to put something memorable together for their very special occasion. Public performances include The Prince’s Trust “Party in the Park” and the Mandela 46664 concerts in Cape Town, Hyde Park, London and Radio City Music Hall, NY, to name a few.
