Queen Show in Porto Alegre Could be Cancelled
Gigantinho structure does not comply with fire regulations
21 September 2015

The show of Queen, accompanied by singer Adam Lambert, scheduled for the evening of Monday, 21, in Porto Alegre is in danger of being cancelled. In a radio interview from the capital, Major Jefferson Ecco, the Fire Deparment, said the Gigantinho, site of show does not comply with the provisions of the Fire Prevention Plan (PPCI).

The show seen at the end of the first night in Rock In Rio is in danger of not happening if the producer, Opus, does not correct items such as emergency exits, panic bars and signage. The producer came to deliver the plan, however the survey of the site encountered problems. The organiation must correct the problems by late afternoon to ensure the realisation of the show, for which tickets are sold out.

APPEARING... !!!

It's true. Bri did finally play in the Dominion!!!

What a blast!!! I wonder who was there. It wasn't announced - just an impromptu guest spot, playing Bohemian Rhapsody, in the Band stand. I'll tell you why later!!!

I actually did the matinee - and that was meant to be IT - but the lead to the amp somehow lost the signal in the afternoon (I was SO embarrassed, feeling I'd let the company down) so I stayed and "got back on the Horse" for the evening show. An amazing buzz for me - it's VERY difficult to be up there - such a strange environment - so different from doing a 'normal' rock gig.

I will forever be thankful to Laurie Wisefield and Alan Darby, our principal guitarists, wo helped me through. It also gave me new respect for what they do evey night - they do SUCH a fantastic job. And the cast were SO supportive - what a wonderful bunch they are. I didn't want to come home really!

Love b
