This is not a day I celebrate. The day we lost Freddie is not a happy memory. So forgive me for being quiet. But I did feel quite good wearing my stylish Freddie T-shirt all day today … rehearsing with some pals for the Battersea Dog’s Home ball tomorrow night.
I tried to act naturally, like it’s normal. I think I got away with it. But it’s surreal, really, going around in a T-shirt with a picture of one of your best mates, who’s become a world-wide icon – but isn’t here any more. Hey Freddie.
