Once again, we salute the brave members of the Blue Fox Group … Conservatives against Foxhunting. Caroline Dineage’s declaration of disgust for the barbaric ‘sport’ of hunting with dogs has definitely ruffled feathers in the dark corridors of the Countryside Alliance. In a very undignified outburst, Simon Hart used the word ‘puerile’ to describe his fellow party member’s views – something he may live to regret. Perhaps the bigger surprise is to find that these people actually DO disapprove of Bear-Baiting ! One wonders how they are able to make a distinction between these two equally disgusting activities.
