[In reply to a very inforative letter about Fracking – see in LETTERS]
Thanks, Michael. Fracking is something I’m only just beginning to learn about, so I found your message very enlightening. All the evidence I have seen suggests that this a thoroughly irresponsible process which, as in so many other cases, has been pushed through because of vested interests. I am, like you, appalled at the recklessness of these people; it’s a frightening prospect, and something I believe our Government ought to be protecting us from, until and unless it is clearly established that there is no danger.
Every day I hear of more bad decisions being made on our behalf. I do not feel safe under this regime.
