Here is a pleasant moment ‘backstage’ at Astrofest – captured in 3-D by Denis Pellerin.
Peter Gabriel is on the advisory board for Starmus. My talk ‘A History of Stereoscopy in Astronomy’ – illustrated all the way with projected 3-D slides, using a new state-of-the-art full-colour system, seemed to go very well. We got some good ‘gasps’ from the audience … a packed house in the Kensington Town Hall.
I have to say a special thank you to all the Astrofest attendees, not just for being a great audience, but also for letting us have every one of our special OMEGA 3-D glasses back ! Love ya !! Now Max got some great pics of the event … so hopefully we will see some.
