This is the most incredibly inspiring book. I’m going to plug it unashamedly. It’s an extraordinary story of a girl who shone brightly in a world-wide community that thought being gay was a disease to be cured. And her journey to find the courage to be open, and in the process destroy her career. But this much more than a book about being gay. It’s about all of us finding the courage to to face our shame and guilt and be whole. Trust me – it’s life-changing – and also world-changing.
