I just witnessed the birth of a masterpiece. No kidding. Katy Brand’s new comedy 3 WOMEN is actually deeply disturbing because it penetrates so deep into the damage parents can do to their offspring – it challenges every one of us to re-examine our family relationships – and that’s why it’s so brilliantly funny.

My lady wife Anita is utterly devastating in the role of all of our mothers – struggling to cope with the way the world is changing our expectations and behaviours. She and her daughter played by Debbie Chazen, a consummate actress in her own right, drag out their bloody past with an already devastating display of verbal arrow-shooting – this was only the first preview night ! Bright newcomer Maisie Richardson Sellers contrasts in style with a very real portrayal of the ultra modern granddaughter.

This is theatre the way it should be — intimate, passionate and riveting – in my humble opinion. SEE IT if you want a new insight into your life !
