This is Brian.
Yeah you’ve probably noticed my hacking episode has turned out to be a lot more troublesome than I thought in the beginning because the guys not only hacked my Twitter and TikTok, he’s also hacked my Virgin e-mail, so I can’t get in there to fix anything and basically I wasted the whole day today trying to reclaim my stuff and without much success to be honest.
I actually don’t get it and I spend my life trying to earn an honest living I suppose, and trying to do some good in the world and bring some joy to people, but this guy just wants to spend his days making my life a misery, so I don’t really get it.
I think it’s kind of sad but I’ve got some people working on trying to reclaim my stuff.
It’s done a lot of damage to me. It also makes me feel very, I guess, violated. It’s a very uncomfortable feeling that somebody would want to do that to you. I don’t understand what I’ve done to him which would make you want to do this to me but, anyway, it’s wasted a lot of my time and energy and it’s kind of depressing. Don’t get it, as I say.
Anyway, my message is:
– Don’t try and contact me by email through any Virgin address that you might have because all you’ll be doing is communicating with the hacker.
– Don’t pay any attention to anything that’s on Twitter or on my TikTok account, which has been renamed. It’s all rubbish.
- And please be careful with your own stuff. Put double protection on, double authorization on anything you can and make sure that your passwords really are protected and not protected by stupid personal questions which people can actually work out.
It’s a lesson to me. I just wish I’d taken more care but I guess I have a kind of trust in people. I kind of believe that people are going to be good and it’s very naive of me, I guess, so I’m gonna try and do some work – do some music tomorrow – but at the moment this is kind of hanging over me.
