OK – now I’m gonna sound like an IG advert ! I can hardly believe that I took this picture last night of the Orion nebula in my back garden! Well, to be strictly accurate a small digital telescope called a Vaonis Vespera took the picture more or less all by itself ! My dear friend (and founder of STARMUS) sent it to me to play with. Extraordinary !! This is not a telescope you can look through – it’s a 21st century creation that can find a target, follow it, and take photographs of it which rival the professionals !
