EXTRACT:
[Dr Who’s] Anita Dobson has joined the cast of Paramount Plus thriller Curfew alongside fellow EastEnders alumni Larry Lamb, Lucy Benjamin and Bobby Brazier.
The previously announced series is based on Jayne Cowie’s [popular] novel After Dark, imagining a world in which an act of Parliament is passed which requires all men to wear ankle tags and adhere to a strict 7pm curfew.
Dobson joins the project in the role of Janet, who runs a refuge for women who don’t wish to cohabit with men.
Filming underway on 6-pt thriller.
Will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount Plus in UK.
