In 1974 – John Deacon and Roger Taylor appeared at EMI Records – Radio Luxembourg motor racing rally at Brands Hatch.
In 1999 – Brian May was in the Falmouth area, Cornwall, UK, for the total Eclipse of the Sun, and appeared on The Bigger Eclipse Breakfast, Channel 4 TV: RESCUED FOOTAGE Apologies for poor quality. – TRANSCRIPT HERE

In 2001 – Roger Taylor joined SAS Band, Gosport Festival, Gosport, Hants, UK.
In 2010 Jim Beach confirmed Queen leaving EMI after 39 years and in 2011 Queen would start working with a new record company to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the band with “studio work, computers and live work”.
In 2011 – Brian May reported (at length) on the sad death of  long-time friend, Dave Dilloway, bass player with first band 1984.  READ HERE
In 2012 – The Olympic Team GB & Adidas athletes from London 2012, inc Olympic medallists Sir Chris Hoy, Jessica Ennis, Victoria Pendleton, Louis Smith and Pete Reed, created their own version of Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ – celebrating the success of London 2012.
