On This Day in Queen History – 21 July

In 1982 – Queen began US leg of Hot Space Tour at The Forum, Montreal, Canada. Fred Mandel joined band as additional keyboard player, Support Billy Squier.

In 1986 – Queen played the Stadthalle, Vienna, Austria.

In 1986 – Freddie Mercury Video EP (VHS) released by PMI in UK, containing promo videos for ‘I Was Born To Love You’, ‘Living On My Own’ ‘Made In Heaven’ and ‘Time’.

In 2013 – Brian May and Kerry Ellis played Guitare en Scene Festival, Stade des Burgondes, Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, France.

In 2013 – The Mail On Sunday published excerpts of Queen stories from the book “Life On Two Legs: Setting The Record Straight On Queen, The Beatles, Elton and Bowie And The Ultimate Rock Studio, Trident” – by Norman J Sheffield, foreword by Paul McCartney.
In 2015 – Brian May wrote on his Soapbox about, here: “NASA – WHAT HAPPENED WHEN I WAS THERE” and sent his thanks for birthday messages.
