Freddie Mercury has been chosen as one of our iconic 32 Londoners in 2015. Lesley-Ann Jones will be talking about him for the occasion.
Last year we held our first 32 Londoners where each of the Eye’s 32 pods was given over to a talk by a well-known expert on a famous natural born Londoner. As the Eye rotated the speaker was able to point out landmarks in the capital below that were associated with the Londoner in question. It was a unique experience for both speaker and audience. This year the theme is 32 Adoptive Londoners (ie people born outside the capital who came to be associated with it) so we were able to include Freddie.
