ON ITS release, the Christmas mini-album ‘Silent Night’ by Canada-based Marc Martel has been getting US airplay with a single from the project “What Child Is This?” debuting on Billboard’s AC Monitored chart at number 27. The song features guitar and banjo virtuoso Ron Block (Alison Krauss & Union Station). Martel is the former vocalist with CCM hitmakers Downhere and more recently with the Queen tribute band Queen Extravaganza.
