Roger Taylor – Journey’s End

Bowing to public demand audio-only track to be available to download from key digital stores and streaming services on June 2.

Returning with his first new music since his 2013 Fun On Earth album with his almost seven minute long cinematic short film ‘Journey’s End’, Queen’s Roger Taylor has snagged the number one chart spot in the music video download charts in the UK and across the world.

Released May 5th, ‘Journey’s End’, made exclusively available to download on iTunes, charted instantly at No.1 in the UK and top ten in 19 other countries and continues to hold its strong placing as the track enters its third week of release.

Directed by the BAFTA-winning actor and filmmaker Stuart Brennan, this sumptuously shot mini-epic built around a track composed and entirely performed by Taylor, the film was mostly shot around Taylor’s house by the sea in his home region of Cornwall in southwest England.

And now following its international success, in a bow to public demand ‘Journey’s End’ is to have an audio-only digital release on June 2 through key digital stores and streaming services including Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and Tida with pre-order available on iTunes, Amazon and Google Play. There are also signs that we should expect more new music from Taylor before the end of year.

Taylor meanwhile will join fellow Queen band founder Brian May plus singer Adam Lambert for two massive Queen + Adam Lambert concert tours beginning in North America next month and rounding out with 26 sold out concert dates in Europe and the UK at the end of the year.
