Anne Meyer
Today we heard the sad news that we have lost a treasured member of the Queen Team.
Anne had been a key part of the Queen family for over 25 years, joining the ranks just prior to Freddie’s passing in 1991.
Formerly a teacher, she was employed as Jim Beach’s PA in Switzerland and administered many facets of the wider Queen world, including a deep involvement in The Mercury Phoenix Trust.
Anne was a very measured and sweet lady, with a steely resolve and a non-driver; when the office moved half way up the mountain to overlook Lake Geneva from down town Montreux, the task was set – Anne just simply learned to handle a car, but she really was a terrible driver… 🙂
She was an individual of grace and calm, in a business that is anything but.
Anne will be very sorely missed by the Queen Team and our thoughts go to Myke, Nys and Harvey.
