Brian May and Roger Taylor were “somewhere in the audience” at the O2, London, on Tuesday night (19 Sept),

During Dave Grohl’s introduction of the Foo Fighters band members, they launched into an energetic cover of” Tie Your Mother Down”, followed by Dave’s shout-out to the Brian and Roger.

DAVE GROHL: If Queen did it, it’s okay. It’s a beautiful thing… play ‘Tie Your Mother Down’
‘cos tonight in the audience somewhere Brian May and
Roger Taylor from Queen.

Taylor Hawkins also led the audience in a Freddie Mercury-style “Ay-o” interlude.
