Collector, and celebrated Queen guitarist Brian May, and photographic historians Denis Pellerin and Paula Fleming are united by a rare passion for Diableries (‘Devilments’): ghoulish stereo cards originally produced in France in the 1860s. In their quest to resolve the many mysteries of the bizarre imagery, they have collaborated on a new book featuring the Diableries, and today present these extraordinary visions in 3D on the big screen.

Diableries: Stereoscopic Adventures in Hell, by Brian May, Denis Pellerin and Paula Fleming is published in hardback by The London Stereoscopic Company on 31 October.The book contains 500 photographs in colour and black and white and comes complete with an OWL stereo viewer designed by Brian May. www.londonstereo.co.uk
