Queen in 3-D Press Launch

|

Brian May’s new book “Queen In 3-D was launched last night at the Century Club, Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

Queen cocktails (including Queen Vodka, of course) were and canapés were served while those assembled mingled and took in the various displays of Brian’s memorabilia collection that were on on show in glass cabinets.

There wasn’t long to wait till Brian took to the platform and welcomed everyone. He spoke movingly about the Manchester bomb attach and led in a minute’s silence to think about those tragic victims – young and old.

Then the projector was switched on and he proceeded to walk the audience through the history of Queen, providing a narration of tales (some very funny) of the band at various stages of their career, in the studio, on tour – as photographs evoked a fond memory, especially of dear Freddie

. Altogether an entertaining evening and a good appetizer for this new wonderful title. [More report/photos to follow.]
