WALLY GORE R.I.P

We all mourn the passing of a great old friend, from the Queen touring days.

Wally Gore was our constant companion in the Glory Days of Queen tours in the 1970s and 80s.

He travelled with us as security, specialising in looking after John, but also a solid and genial member of the Queen family.

Wally was unflappable, even, and highly professional 24 hours a day.

He had a dry sense of humour, and can be seen in the background in the Queen documentaries, often offering the odd word, like the tongue-in-cheek “Nobody goes in there – NOBODY”.

Wally worked many a night in latter years as security at Hammersmith Apollo, among other gigs, and remained a great friend.

He will be sadly missed by us all, and his many friends in the business.
