I was OUTRAGED that Firefox was forcing me to use Yahoo for every search. *********
THE SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM ? No amount of fiddling with preferences made any difference. The way my esteemed pal Justin finally got rid of the hijacking by Yahoo was:
1) go into the HELP menu at top of the Firefox homepage.
2) go into TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION.
3) Hit REFRESH. I am now Yahoo free.
I hope this will help anyone out there who is ha Inc similar problems.
