Just taking a moment to appreciate a great stereoscopist ! Previously unknown to me – @plutowithheart has taken an ancient photo of me backstage around 1975, and coloured it, and converted it into a 3-D gem !! Thanks – and damn well done ! Respects ! You guys will be able to sort out which are the parallel versions and which are for cross-eyed viewing.

And talking of stereoscopic genius … Sarah Rugg has created this astounding 3-D portrait, among others – and I just had to share. There should be no discussion about perfection or imperfection here – this is a true stereoscopic work of art. The great Salvador Dali attempted similar works, but the list of artists who understand stereoscopy well enough, and also have the skills to create in this medium, is VERY short. I take my hat off to you Sarah. Your subject wins no prizes here – but you do !!! Thanks for this great compliment – and more power to ya ! Enjoy, folks !!!
