In 1980 – John Deacon’s ‘Another One Bites The Dust’ bw Brian May’s ‘Dragon Attack’ single released UK by EMI (4th single from “The Game” album), reaching No 7 on the Official UK Singles Chart. Both tracks still magnificent today!!!
Another One Bites The Dust proved a colossal international hit that gave John [Deacon] his first No 1 record. Inspired by the kind of bass lines so successfully employed by soul group Chic at that time, Bites The Dust came from nowhere to catapult Queen into the stratosphere and a whole new audience – even in the most unlikely quarters as the black funk clubs of New York.

In 2016 – Brian May played the Gayageum (instrument) during the recording sessions with Kerry Ellis. The Gayageum is a traditional Korean zither-like string instrument, with 12 strings, although there are more recent variants have more strings. BRIAN explains more on SOAPBOX
