In 1980 – Queen received Platinum Award ‘Another One Bites The Dust” US sales.
In 1981 – Queen played Forum, Montreal, Canada (2nd night).

In 1991 – EMI Electrola withdraws The Cross ‘Life Changes’ CD single form the market.
In 1991 – BBC Radio 1 had two special programmes on-air, while BBC TV showed “These Are The Days Of Our Lives” documentary for the first time. Special programmes shown on TV around the world as news of Freddie’s death announced.
In 1997 – Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert (20 April 1992) released on laserdisc.
In 1996 – Brian May, Roger Taylor & Montserrat Caballe attended the inauguration of the Irena Sedleck Freddie Mercury statue, Montreux, Switzerland.

The statue in Montreux, Switzerland (sculptor by Irena Sedlecka) was erected as a tribute to Freddie Mercury. It stands almost 10 feet (3 metres) high overlooking Lake Geneva and was unveiled on 25 November 1996 by Freddie’s parents and Montserrat Caballé, with bandmates Brian May and Roger Taylor also in attendance.

In 2004 – Brian May & Roger Taylor joined Nelson Mandela for launch of special limited edition of book, “46664 The Concert”, Dorchester Hotel, London, UK, the book documenting 29 Nov 2003 Cape Town Concert.

In 2005 – “We Will Rock You (Live in Sheffield – Promo Version)” and “We Are The Champions (Live in Sheffield Promo Version)” from “Return Of The Champions”, issued Japan.

In 2010 – Brian May gives an interview for BBC News before “Collars & Coats Gala Ball”.
In 2010 – The Charity Event “Collars & Coats Gala Ball” takes place in the Battersea Power Station in London in aid of the “150th Anniversary of Battersea Dogs Home”. Queen + Roger Daltrey played together with Spike Edney’s SAS band and Meat Loaf’s Patti Russo.
In 2010 – Brian May auctioned on eBay six WWRY London VIP Box Tickets and a Meet And Greet with himself for an online Christmas Auction from ABC (Action For Brazil’s Children).
In 2011 – The “Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert”, organized by The Official International Queen Fan Club and The Mercury Phoenix Trust, took place at The Clapham Grand Theater, London. Brian May performed with Kerry Ellis and the SAS band ‘No-One But You’, ‘Somebody To Love'” and ‘Tie Your Mother Down’  – then went onto The Darkness concert, Hammersmith Apollo, joining them on ‘Bareback’, ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ and ‘Tie Your Mother Down’.
In 2011 – Roger Taylor’s mother, Winifred, died. R.I.P.
In 2013 – Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender won Emmy Award at 41st International Emmy® Awards Gala event attended by over 1,000 international television professionals, hosted by John Oliver, New York Hilton.
In 2013 – The Japan edition Blu-Ray Audio from “A Night At The Opera” released as an import with additional Japanese insert and OBI from Universal Music Japan.
In 2014 – An official Press book presentation of the French edition “Diableries: Stereoscopic Adventures In Hell” held at the Hotel de Sully, Paris. Brian May and Denis Pellerin presented the 3D book to the press, together with the new French publishing, house “Les Editions La Martinière”.
In 2014 – Roger Taylor telephone interview with Tom Lounges for “Lakeshore Radio” and talked about the possibility of recordings with Adam Lambert, the upcoming tour, the collaboration with Paul Rodgers and his own solo career.
In 2015 – Brian May guest at the film premiere of “Racing Extinction” at the London Zoo, also taking part in an audience discussion.
In 2015 – “Queen Heaven” laser show premiere in Mannheim. “Queen Heaven” was now shown in Jena, Kiel and Münster in four different planetariums in Germany.
