On This Day in Queen History – 4 February

In 1975 – Queen began rehearsals for Sheer Heart Attack Tour at Agora Theater, Columbus, USA,
In 1977 – Queen played Cole Field House, University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland, USA.
In 1979 – Queen played the Hallenstadium, Zürich, Switzerland.
In 1984 – Queen appeared San Remo Festival, San Remo, Italy.
In 1991 – “Innuendo” released in the UK – 14th studio album, which entered UK chart at No1, all songs are credited to Queen.

In 1991 – Interview with US Rockline Radio: Roger Taylor stated Freddie Mercury working on ideas for ‘I’m Going Slightly Mad’ video. and Brian May said he was still working on his solo album. Also discussed ‘Headlong’ video (not then yet released) while ‘Innuendo’ already out, plus archives being examined for unreleased material for Hollywood Records re-issues; ‘Tie Your Mother Down (1991 Wallace Remix)’ given radio debut and it was said ‘Stone Cold Crazy’ had also been remixed.
In 1996 – Status Quo released ‘Don’t Stop” album ft Brian May on “Raining In My Heart”, on CD and VHS.

In 2014 – In an interview with “Express”, Brian May stated upcoming Queen Tour soon to be announced, speaking at launch of the “The Badger And Cattle Vaccination” (BACVI) initiative at House of Commons in London. He also confirms work on at least three unheard-of queen songs and that Freddie Mercury Biopic is working with Ben Whishaw.

 In 2015 – Queen + Adam Lambert played O2 World, Berlin, Germany.
