On Sunday 7th September, Johnnie Walker will be celebrating Queen’s brand new concert album Live At The Rainbow ’74 on BBC Radio 2’s Sounds of the 70s.

Johnnie celebrates the fortieth anniversary of Queen’s concerts at the Rainbow Theatre in 1974. Originally planned for release at the time, plans were shelved and only this year has the concert seen the light of day.

The day before general release and look at how the album stands in the band’s history, and what it meant for them moving into the rest of the decade.

Johnnie will play tracks from the new album ahead of release, and hear from music journalist Philip Norman who reviewed the concert for The Times back in 1974.
