The Rock in Rio event is slated on September 18 but Adam Lambert and his friends from the Queen rock group Brian May and Roger Taylor were already spotted having breakfast in Rio, Brazil, and greeting adoring fans in the morning of September 10.

While they have not made any official statement about their early presence in Rio, it would appear that they were in the place for Rock in Rio and just decided to come ahead of schedule to promote their upcoming gig and perhaps Adam Lambert’s latest single titled “Ghost Town.”

Typical of Adam Lambert, he was all smiles and glamorous in greeting adoring and screaming fans. His photos, featuring his great looks and attractive poses on the internet and many fan sites are actually being referred to as ‘Glambert,’ cites Socialite Life.

Joining the final hurrah of ‘American Idol’

Meanwhile, Adam Lambert will be joining many of the reality singing competition show “American Idol” when its 16th and final season is aired on Fox next year.

But he will not be any judge or coach or something as Lambert will just deliver prime performance during the course of the show the way Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber did in the past seasons of “American Idol”

Their stint as guest performers in the “American Idol” actually gave their careers more momentum on course to even greater heights. For the final season of the singing competition reality show, “American Idol” the producers shall no longer bring A-list music stars but its very own roster of talented idols instead to make guests look and become organic to the show, details Billboard.

Trish Kinane, president of entertainment programming at FremantleMedia North America, who happens to be the showrunner of “American Idol,” said that the final season of the popular TV show will reflect on the huge successes and amazing moments for the past 14 years.

In addition to Adam Lambert, also expected to return are the likes of Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, and Philip Phillips, which are expected to draw viewers to the show. There are still more alumni of “American Idol” coming back, many of them have found their success in the music industry while some others, in other endeavors.

Kinane said that success is not always judged through album sales or radio hits, citing that Kellie Pickler from “American Idol” Season 5 won the “Dancing with the Stars” in 2013 while Season 2’s Clay Aiken ran for Congress in 2014.

Switching fashion influences

Adam Lambert is sporting a new look these days where he toned down a lot of the makeup and put the flat iron in the attic or his mane.

Apparently, the 33-year-old “American Idol” alum has switched fashion influences from glam divas to more traditional heartthrobs like Elvis Presley and James Dean.

The change in his look is also part of the campaign for his third album titled “The Original High” because according to him, the trends are part of his job.

Lambert is admittedly gay but he is still one of the more good-looking singers today and he also knows it. In a recent interview, he said that he was asked to tone down on his looks but he said that he was not consciously doing that, he just shifted.

He said that he has to make adjustments based on what people like, adding that production and the way something sounds are very much like fashion, where people are gravitating toward something for a particular season or period.

Adam Lambert is also confirmed for the 16th installment of the “Live in the Vineyard” musical gig taking place at the Napa Valley winery boutique on November 5 to 8.

The event is shaping up to the best yet with the recent announcement of some of the biggest names in music right now including Lambert, Leona Lewis, James Bay, A Great Big/Brave World, and Gavin James.

They will join previously announced artists including Rob Thomas, Barenaked Ladies, Nick Fradiani, Michael Franti, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, and for King & Country.

The music artists will be performing at the nightly concerts of the star-studded event to be held at the Uptown Theater, set amidst the lush scenery of boutique wineries in Napa Valley.

‘”Live in the Vineyard” is one of America’s most exclusive and sought after events and there have been previous reports that Wynonna & The Big/Brave Noise and American Authors will also perform during the private VIP gigs of the event.

Adam Lambert also made a huge comeback in the UK on August 30 for the Fusion Festival. It was Lambert’s first appearance in the very popular Fusion Festival.

Lambert has been on a tear recently after the successful launching of his third album which was officially released on June 21. He once again enjoyed global chart success with his latest album. It actually broke into the Top 10 in the UK charts.

The 33-year-old eccentric musician has been going on tour lately with the iconic rock band Queen. Because of the rapport that they have established, Lambert was officially chosen as the new frontman or lead singer for Queen alongside Brian May, filling in the position that was left by the death of Freddie Mercury several years ago.
