It’s that time again… and we have a couple of exciting announcements!

We’d like to invite you to “DINNER WITH SPIKE EDNEY”
May 20th, 2018, 7pm, Portsmouth Guildhall, Hampshire, Tickets: £85

Spike has been asked to host a dinner, as part of a planned series to raise funds for the Portsmouth Guildhall’s Studio Campaign portsmouthguildhall.org.uk/support-us/studio-campaign, a new multi-purpose facility to support emerging talent across the region, develop a diversified arts and contemporary music programme, a youth arts and theatre programme and provide an accessible hub, which community groups can utilise. As many of you know, Portsmouth is Spike’s hometown and The Guildhall has always played an important part in Portsmouth’s impressive musical heritage and is where Spike saw his first concert, The Beatles! He feels honoured to be asked to support this initiative.

The evening promises to be a fun and amusing night. It will begin at the top of the Guildhall’s grand stairway with a champagne reception and a tour with Spike around the Portsmouth Music Experience exhibition “Spike Edney: From Landport to Live Aid”. An exclusive dinner for just 40 people will follow in the Lord Mayor’s Banqueting Room, with Spike at the helm recounting stories of his illustrious history with Queen and tales of his rock and roll memories from his years with Duran Duran, The Boomtown Rats, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, and The Cross, as well as experiences from his time as Musical Director for iconic concerts such as the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, the Nelson Mandela’s 46664 90th birthday concert and more…
