Rock Candy: The Early Years
Queen currently have a cover story in the Rock Candy magazine focusing on the band’s early years, from ‘Queen’ to ‘Sheer Heart Attack’.
The 14-page feature includes a classic Freddie interview from 1974, reviews of two important Queen shows from 1973 and 1974, interviews with Nutz bassist Keith Mulholland who toured with Queen in ’74, an interview with Bruce Murray, who was a school friend of Freddie’s as well as a member of his first band, The Hectics, together with three in-depth reappraisals of the first three albums.
