Rami Malek received a huge honor at the Santa Barbara Film Festival!

The 37-year-old Bohemian Rhapsody actor attended the fest’s Outstanding Performer of the Year Award ceremony on Friday night (February 1) at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara, Calif. Rami‘s co-star and girlfriend Lucy Boynton also stepped out to support him at the event.

After being presented the award by co-star Joe Mazzello, Rami sat down for a discussion about the film. “Ultimately you just have to go out there and deliver. This is the moment you’re thrust upon this stage. I kept repeating…’This is your chance, you can do this, you’re equip to do this and everyone here is on your team,’” Rami said on stage, of taking on the role of Freddie Mercury.

Lucy wore Gucci.
