Freddie Mercury features twice in this new short from the Royal Albert Hall, titled ‘Your Room Will Be Ready’. Narrated by Mick Jagger,the video includes legendary moments in music history, alongside appearances from artists, athletes and activists, in tribute to live music and performance.
On 5 November 1985, Freddie famously appeared at the RAH as part of a Fashion Aid charity event, along with Jane Seymour, in a beautiful wedding dress – making a stunning couple.
Released to mark the start of the Royal Albert Hall’s 150th anniversary celebrations, the short film is directed by BAFTA-nominee Tom Harper (‘The Aeronauts’, ‘Wild Rose’), and scored by Academy Award-winning composer Steven Price (‘Gravity’, ‘Fury’).
