Queen – The Last Tour by Torleif Svensson,
Press Release
Torleif Svensson’s Photography Exhibition at PROUD Galleries, London
Proud Galleries is honored to present the work of Swedish photographer Torleif Svensson.
With nearly 40 years dedicated to photography, Svensson’s career spans continents, capturing iconic moments in music and culture.
A defining moment in his career came when 50 rolls of film, containing images of world-renowned artists, including Queen, were stolen in London.
Determined to recover what was lost, Svensson’s passion for Queen led to a chance meeting with guitarist Brian May. This encounter resulted in an invitation to join Queen on their final tour with Freddie Mercury.
The photographs, which have remained in Svensson’s archive for over 30 years, are now being unveiled for the first time.
Join us for this exclusive exhibition, where music, history, and art converge through the lens of one of Sweden’s most accomplished photographers.
