“The legendary U.K. promotional-only large plastic robot was manufactured in very small number for exclusive displays inside high-profile record stores as part of the promotional campaign for their 1977 album. Measuring approximately 54 inches in height – nearly 140cm – this incredible rarity is made from silver coloured moulded plastic. The robot’s hands create a platform upon which the vinyl LPs can be displayed, held in place by the original wire-framed basket. This particular example stood in pride of place inside EMI’s London HQ and subsequently remained in the possession of a former EMI executive… until now. One of the coolest pieces of vintage display memorabilia ever created. You don’t even need to be a Queen collector to appreciate and enjoy this super-cool robot!” Sir Brian May
