There will be a kind of magic happening in the Dorset village of Bere Regis when Dr Brian May plants the first young oak in his woodland. Locals, along with Brian’s friends from the Save Me foundation and other guests will be enjoying the day – come rain or shine, when they join in to plant the first trees in the project which aims to re-create a native forest on the large site.

This song was written by Linda Lamon to celebrate the occasion and it is sung by the Bere Regis Community school pupils with the village Pop-In Performers. Local musicians Pip Evans, Callum Gibson and David George provide the backing and former Love Affair keyboard player Lynton Guest helped with some instrumentals and production.

Many thanks to all that helped make this happen – especially to Bri who was the main inspiration as he is helping to provide a haven for local wildlife.

ENJOY!!!!
