QUEEN guitarist and avid anti-badger cull protester Brian May has demonstrated another string to his bow. The guitar legend turned the tables on Gloucester Citizen photographer Paul Nicholls during a photo shoot at Cheltenham Literature Festival last week.
Paul said: “I’ve photographed him a few times and we always have a bit of a chat – he said I was getting too close for a wide angle lens but I told him it’s not that wide. He asked to have a look, said it was a nice camera, and just started taking shots of me and the other photographers who were there – and Midge Ure.”
And the result?
“There’s room for improvement but then I can’t play the guitar,” said Paul.
